Strings and Other Things

Like the title suggests, this is Longboat’s 35th album. Although there will be many more to come after this, let’s take a quick inventory of some of the tunes, shall we? Let’s see…there are a few tracks about what will definitely happen in the far-distant future, another tune or two about what’s happening now and several more about what comes forward to us from the past. All that and a new Exit Music, too. It’s just me sounding a little like a electric piano player in a French cafe. As an aside, I’m very excited to convert this series to piano tunes. And write more of them. I’ve just finished Exit Music 6 and I’m starting on 7 later today. Now I have to learn how to play them. Exit Music 2 (from Album 21) gives me the most grief. It will not always be so. I imagine it’ll fall in line like the others in due time. Wish me luck!
