The Count Continues
What began as a way to save money on string orchestras is now a tradition! From early on, I set aside all tunes that had string arrangements for every seventh album. Why seven? I figured I’d have enough cash to hire the best players for the project. I’m also interested in paying them well, too. That’s important. This time out we have songs from the past, present and future for your listening enjoyment. And to finish things up is something else that has become a Longboat tradition: a new Exit Music. We’re up to four of them now. Just think of somebody doing a credible Eric Satie impression and there you have it.
Oh, hello!
We are Longboat, Seattle’s least favorite band. Get to know us or don’t.

Stupid People
This song is about the poppiest thing I’ve ever written. The video was made by a guy in the UK, who has done great work in the past. Yes, the stupid people here are portrayed as Trump followers. You can always tell who they are. They dress up like flags, mostly. The tune is actually just a general observation about being around people who are profound idiots and how exhausting that is. It may be trolling, but you can dance to it.
