A Dish Served Cold
This album has been a long time in the making. I noticed a few years back that I was writing some pretty good tunes about revenge. These were just occasional tracks, but they really spurred me to explore other topics. Usually, once I figure out that I like a topic, I try to expand on it. That’s exactly what’s happening here. But I had to have stories that offered different aspects of this very emotional topic. It took a while to assemble them. So here we are: some of these stories are either true or inspired by legend, while others are complete fabrications. As one who has Eastern European ancestry, I’m well aware that grudges often bloom into something much more. This is an entire album of those tales.

Stupid People
This song is about the poppiest thing I’ve ever written. The video was made by a guy in the UK, who has done great work in the past. Yes, the stupid people here are portrayed as Trump followers. You can always tell who they are. They dress up like flags, mostly. The tune is actually just a general observation about being around people who are profound idiots and how exhausting that is. It may be trolling, but you can dance to it.
